I have been an estate agent in the Bournemouth and surrounding areas since 2000, working for large corporate and small independent estate agencies. My experience in marketing many different types of properties means I can offer my clients with a tailored marketing approach to selling their property.
I moved from Bristol in 1994 to go to Bournemouth University and after graduating with a BA (Hons) in Retail Management, I took a career sidestep into estate agency with a large corporate agent where I learned from experienced agents. Since then I have worked for small and large agents and was a founding agent of the most successful online estate agent in the country.
This start to agency means that I have the experience to deal with all aspects of the property sales process and can be involved every step of the way to ensure that my clients get the support they need when they are moving.
In setting up James Lavis Estate Agents, I have finally realised my dream of running my own business and offering my clients a tailored service with the sole aim of providing good customer service and an experience that I would want to receive myself.
I now live in Christchurch with my wife, daughter and cocker spaniel, Henry. I love spending my time exploring the local area, visiting our amazing beaches, villages and walking in some of our beautiful countryside. I am a proud supporter of our local businesses, schools and of course AFC Bournemouth!
